The University of Strathclyde Business School (SBS) is not only number one in Scotland, but is also a world leader with international centres around the globe.
SBS have a reputation for research and teaching excellence and our approach was to reflect this with a strong copy led campaign that featured simple, bold and distinctive graphics to illustrate the headlines. The overall look of the campaign portrays a confident, premium business school and helps SBS to achieve standout from competitor schools. Working with SBS’s media buying partner, we delivered an integrated campaign across print and online.
The campaign appeared in local, national and international press and a variety of headlines were written to be used within these different markets. The printed adverts appeared in national newspapers and business publications as well as within inflight magazines on popular business commuter routes. The digital aspect of the campaign featured on websites such as ft.com and economist.com, and were complemented by an extensive Google display ads campaign to promote individual programmes.
The campaign has been a huge success, with traffic to SBS’s website for information about them and their programmes up by 61%. The digital campaign has seen CTR’s increase from an already high level of 0.5% up to 1.6%. Recognition of the campaign has also come from the 2015 Scottish Creative Awards, where it has been nominated for ‘Best Press Advert’.
