Up and coming designers with fresh ideas and a fresh out look, the people who have made names for themselves and are seen as the level to aspire to and the people who go above and beyond what they are asked to achieve.
Euan Gallacher is a student at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design. His work is minimalistic and thoroughly engaging. He also designs his own t-shirts which you can see below.
Below is a News Publication Euan designed for a University brief. I like his use of the ‘printer marks’ that would usually be cut away but he has incorporated them into his design.
The Mini below is a concept car which is a beautiful looking car. I always feel when ever I see an advert for Mini that a whole lot of time has gone into the design to make it as unique and fun as the Mini itself. This is very true with their website aswell which if you goto gives you a wonderful look at ‘The Mini Story’.
Darren Heath is an award winning photographer who specializes in Formula 1. His photos capture the excitement and colour that screams through Formula 1. I would recommend checking out his website for all his past race images as they are truly amazing.
Decay in Detroit
The photos below are by Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre and show wonderful architecture in Detroit, USA crumbling to pieces due to neglect and disuse. Their photos at least show these magnificent buildings before they become no more.
Imperial War Museum, North
I visited the IWM in Manchester recently and the exhibition on War Reporting is second to none. Its informative, interactive and extremely interesting. Unfortunately you are not allowed to photograph the exhibition so I would recommend you go visit. It runs till January 2012 and is free to enter.
