Bristol Wessex Billing Services Limited would probably have been the first to admit that their name was… well, a bit dull. Not only was it too prescriptive for their long-term plans, it didn’t express the personality of the company. This wasn’t your average call centre – everywhere we looked, we saw a vibrant and imaginative organisation that was not only great at its job but also genuinely cared for its staff and its customers. We were tasked with capturing this spirit to help the company stand out in a crowded market – but also to create a brand position that staff could really engage with. We hosted a strategic brand workshop, spoke to members of staff and led a collaborative brand transformation process. The result was a new name, Pelican Business Services, and a visual identity that was both bold and confident, and friendly and fun.
